  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line the base of a 8" tin with a remove-able base and butter the sides..
  2. Blend the chopped beetroot untill a smooth thick puree is formed..
  3. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat using an electric whisk..
  4. Melt chocolate in a heatproof dish over a pan of simmering water..
  5. Add beetroot and chocolate to the butter mixture and beat..
  6. Sift remaining ingredients and gently fold untill thoroughly mixed..
  7. Place the mixture into the tin and flatten the top..
  8. Bake for 40-45mins untill a clean needle comes out clean but it still slightly wobbles when shaken slightly..
  9. Leave to cool in tin then cut into small pieces. Enjoy! :D.
