Ingredients of Kinpira Gobo

  1. You need of Gobo Roots.
  2. It's of table spoons Shoyu.
  3. Prepare of table spoons mirin.
  4. It's of Sugar.
  5. You need of Shichimi pepper.
  6. You need of table spoons Grape seed oil.
  7. You need of table spoons Sesame oil.
  8. It's of Black sesame.

Kinpira Gobo step by step

  1. Sharpen knife, Cut gobo into small pieces. I like it to be crunchy so I don’t make it to be too skinny and small..
  2. Heat wok with 2 table spoons of grape oil and 1 table spoon of sesame oil. Stir fry gobo for 5-6min till get cooked and put mirin, Shoyu, sugar and keep on stir frying till caramelized. Then add 1/2 table spoon of sesame oil for more flavor..
  3. Serve with Shichimi pepper on top.
  4. Additional: Saved Chopped Gobo on the side and boiled. Made Tofu Gobo salad with Sesame mayonnaise dressing sauce..
