Ingredients of Berry Granita

  1. It's 1 cup of fresh/ frozen berries(mixed).
  2. Prepare 1/2 lemon of Juice of a lemon.
  3. You need 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  4. You need 1/2 cup of water.
  5. Prepare 1/4 th tsp of teaspoon salt.
  6. You need as needed of Yogurt to serve(optional).

Berry Granita step by step

  1. Rinse and add the berries in a blender.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients.
  3. Blend until a smooth mixture/paste is obtained.
  4. Add the mixture in any flat heavy bottom tray/tin.
  5. Freeze until firm or well frozen.
  6. Once done, scrape the required amount of granita (berry ice) with the help of a fork and collect in a bowl.
  7. Serve on a layer of yogurt or just as is(for a vegan option).
