M & M Cookies step by step

In large bowl mix shortening, brown sugar and sugar. Beat in vanilla and eggs..
In another bowl sift flour, baking soda and salt..
Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture. Blend well..
Stir in 1/2 cup m & M's..
Drop by rounded teaspoons, 2 inches apart..
Decorate with remaining candies..
Bake 375 for 10 mins..
Remove from oven to wire rack, cool completely..
