  1. In saucepan, combine sugar, applesauce, and gelatins..
  2. Let stand for 1 minute..
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly..
  4. Boil for 15 minutes..
  5. Remove from heat..
  6. Add in vanilla and walnuts..
  7. Immediately pour into an 11x7 greased baking dish..
  8. Cover and refrigerate overnight..
  9. Cut into one inch pieces..
  10. Roll in sugar..
  11. Store in airtight container in refrigerator..
