- In saucepan, combine sugar, applesauce, and gelatins..
- Let stand for 1 minute..
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly..
- Boil for 15 minutes..
- Remove from heat..
- Add in vanilla and walnuts..
- Immediately pour into an 11x7 greased baking dish..
- Cover and refrigerate overnight..
- Cut into one inch pieces..
- Roll in sugar..
- Store in airtight container in refrigerator..
