Ingredients of Berry Ice Cream
- You need 1 of Mixed berries.
- It's 1 cup of superfine sugar.
- It's 3/4 cup of heavy cream.
- It's 1 of to 3 tbsp confection's sugar.

Berry Ice Cream instructions
- Wash your fruits, pick out any bits of stalk, and hull the strawberries. Put fruit and sugar in a pan, cover, and cook slowly for 5 to 10 min..
- When the berries let out their juice, turn up the heat and simmer for 5 minutes..
- Let the fruit cool, then blend it until it's smooth..
- Pour the blend fruit though a srainer to remove the seeds..
- Pour the strained fruit into ice cube trays and freeze until solid..
- Put the cream in a bowl and whip it till it forms soft peaks when you lift the wisk..
- Let the frozen berries thaw for 5 minutes, the roughly chop in a food processor..
- Add the cream. Whizz to combie. Add confectioner's sugar for taste..
- Serve now ( it is very soft), or freeze for an hour befor serving.
I adapted this from a strawberry ice cream recipe that came with my machine. Perfect with fresh blueberries but good with frozen as well. This blueberry ice cream will add a sweet ending to any meal. It's best to make the base and chill it overnight before processing in your ice cream maker. Serve topped with fresh strawberries or raspberries.
