Candy Sushi. Stir rice cereal into marshmallow mixture until evenly coated. This candy sushi recipe makes adorable sushi look-alikes from Rice Krispies, gummy worms, and other pre-made candies! Even so-called sushi "haters" won't be able to resist this cute and delicious candy.

Candy Sushi is not restricted to simple sushi rolls. You can also make fish-topped "nigiri" sushi. Candy Sushi is a colorful DIY treat made from fruit roll-ups, puffed rice cereal and melted marshmallows. You can have Candy Sushi using 4 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Candy Sushi

  1. Prepare 1 box of Fruit By the Foot Fruit Roll Ups.
  2. You need 1 packages of large mashmallows.
  3. Prepare 1 packages of (12 oz.) Swedish Fish.
  4. It's 1 packages of (large) flavored Twizzlers.

Candy Sushi is a new snack that combines the style of sushi with the sweet appeal of candy. This tasty tray contains a variety of sour and sweet candies styled to look like popular Japanese fish fare. If you want to make candy sushi out of Swedish fish, lay out several strips of thin, flat candy, like Fruit by the Foot. Cut a mini-donut in half, but don't cut all the way through.

Candy Sushi step by step

  1. Take a plastic straw and push a hole through the center of a marshmallow..
  2. Stuff a cut piece of flavored Twizzler (about 2 in.) through the hole..
  3. Cut a 3 in. piece of fruit roll up; place a Swedish Fish on the center, and wrap around the marshmallow..
  4. Follow the above steps until marshmallow bag is empty or until desired..
  5. IF WRAPPING: take a small piece of wax paper and roll the candy in it; then, with two small pieces of string, tie each end..

Then, carefully pull the marshmallow until you can lay it flat, with both halves still connected. A fun candy treat to make for a themed party - to pull kids in and inspire imagination!
