This Ferrero Rocher cake is uber rich, like biting into the decadent truffle. The chocolate cake layers are delicate, yet rich almost like a brownie and very chocolatey. The cake layers are truly delicate so I recommend allowing the layers to cool completely and even set overnight. …and then delicately push a Ferrero Rocher on top of each swirl.   1. Sift the dry ingredients - flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, cocoa powder - together and lightly mix through. In a separate dish beat the eggs with the oil and vanilla. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour the egg mixture, lightly mix through.
  2. Add the hot water and mix through. Grease and line 2 microwaveable round dishes with baking paper. Halve the batter and pour it in the prepared dishes. Place it one at a time in the microwave on the edge of the glass plate for even baking and let it bake for 7/8 mins depending on your watts of a microwave. Insert a toothpick in the centre to check if it's Done. Let the cakes cool for 5 mins, take it out of the dishes and place on flat plates to cool. Place in the freezer to harden.MAKES 2 LAYERS.
