Add flour and stir until the butter and flour are well combined.   4. Turn heat up to med, continue cooking until sauce thickens. 4 or 5 minutes more..
  5. Stir in salt and pepper..
  6. It can be kept in a jar in fridge up to a week..
  7. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
