- It's of medium potatoes.
- It's of fine bulgur, well washed.
- It's of flour.
- It's of fresh mint or dried.
- You need of large onions.
- You need of walnuts.
- You need of bread crumbs or crushed "kaak".
- It's of cumin.
- You need of dried basil.
- You need of pepper.
- You need of salt.
Potato Kibbeh step by step
- Fry the sliced onions in oil on medium heat for 5 mins. Add the walnuts to them.
- Boil potatoes, and crush them with fork while still hot. Add salt, pepper, cumin, mint, basil.
- Place the onion/walnut mixture in the pan/ then add the potatoe mix. Make a nice design with a knife. Add bread crumbs if available. Drizzle the olive oil on top..
- Bake in oven for 20-30 mins..
